Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Students were mixed, though generally positive, about their overall view of Holy Cross. The social scene seems to be the victim of most criticism, but there is no question that Holy Cross provides all its students with a first-rate education.

Most students are friendly, outgoing, and fun, and making friends is not a problem. However, some students complain about the school’s homogeneity. Few students seem to want to do anything that is outside of the norm. In all though, most students are very happy at Holy Cross, as evidenced by the school’s unusually high retention rate.

Dorms

The dorms are big here, and I have no complaints about them. At first I was mad that I didn't get my own bathroom and laughed when one of the orientation speakers said it helped us get to know the floor. However, everyone on our floor knows each other really well and my friends with suite style rooms at other schools say that the doors in their halls are always closed. The dorms are awesome, especially Mulledy!

Professors

The professors are outstanding. My teachers all know me personally even though I do not frequent office hours. They are all passionate and very involved with the students. My teachers inspire me.

Shuttles Are Nice

Free shuttles to local mall, Boston, and Providence on the weekends directly from Holy Cross. They also have a Woo bus, which i believe takes you around worcester during the day that you can use. I haven't used it yet. Taxis take most people to the clubs and bars. Usually a $12 fare, so bring 3 or 4 friends with you.
