Advice
- Find internships early——some applications are due in November for the next summer. Accept unpaid internships if you have to; the experience is worth the poverty. Career Services is somewhat helpful on job-finding basics but will mostly refer you to their Web site. It’s always safest to double-check any information the career counselors give you. Once you’ve selected a major, make sure you are on your department’s listserv email. Many departments compile and send out their own list of internships and job opportunities.
