Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews are offered to prospective students during their high school senior year or second semester of their high school junior year, and are offered on or off campus. On-campus interviews are scheduled weekdays and select Saturday mornings during the academic year. You can schedule an interview on the College of Wooster's website or by calling the Office of Admissions at (330) 263-2322.
Off-campus interviews are available throughout the year as admission officers travel around the country. Check with your guidance counselor or the College of Wooster's website to see if there will be interviews held near you. Off-campus interviews are often also conducted by Wooster alumni admission representatives throughout the country. Contact the College of Wooster's Office of Admissions at (330) 263-2322 for more information if you are interested in this option.
If you would like to receive information about the College and ask an admissions representative questions, but don't want to do a formal interview, information sessions are available. Information sessions are conducted by an admissions officer who will give a brief overview of the College of Wooster. Advanced reservations are not required.

Campus Tours

Walking tours are available at the College of Wooster. The tours last approximately one hour and are led by student guides. Although the tours will sometimes have as many as three families on them, they often are only one family. Plus, tour guides work hard to structure the tour around the prospective students' interests. Tours are available on weekdays on the hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (except noon). Tours can be scheduled by calling the Office of Admissions at (330) 263-2322 or on the College of Wooster's website.

Overnight Visits

During an overnight visit, a prospective student will be paired with a College of Wooster student, typically matched based on similar interests. On overnight visits, you will get to experience college life for the night. You will eat in the dining hall, sleep in the residence halls, and get a taste of what it is like to be a Wooster student. Overnight visits are offered on Thursday evenings in the fall and Sunday and Thursday evenings in the spring, while classes are in session. To schedule an overnight, please make your reservation online or call (330) 263-2322 at least one week in advance. The College of Wooster can only accommodate high school seniors for overnight stays. The College of Wooster recommends that students visiting overnight bring a sleeping bag and pillow because they will be staying in their host's dorm room.
