They provide wifi access through the school which makes it very easy for any person to access the internet. The computer lab is set up for comfort in a quiet environment. Our assignments are all turned in by use of the student learning portal which is easy to access and review. There is an IT tech at the college, so if there is ever a problem with your computer or internet he is very helpful.

Stevens Henager College made it super easy to get into college, unlike other colleges I have applied to. They interview me and helped me set up financial needs to be accepted at the school. They have a person for any need and are always accommodating to every person.

At Stevens Henager College; College America Flagstaff, I feel as if I am treated as their top priority. They have amazing teachers here on the Idaho Falls, Idaho campus who are more than willing to help with any question or concern you may need. I was provided with my own laptop to use during the course of my education and am able to keep upon graduation. Not only did they provide me with a personal laptop, but also a computer tech who is available should I have any issues with my laptop. The career resource individual is very friendly and able to help with building my resume and job placement upon graduation. There are many instructors and teachers at Stevens Henager that go the extra mile to insure you are getting the help you need. This campus is not a dorm campus but a very welcoming campus to all students. Easy to navigate and in a comfortable environment. There is a library for students to access any time and a friendly librarian to help with any questions.

The uniqueness of my program is that it is a fast tract module that they use, which includes the majorty of the classes to be strictly in the major of study. the hands on learning focusing on multiple skills rather than a single point of interest.

I haven't been here long so for now i'm just gonna give it an average rating because I don't think I've been here long enough to actually criticize the academic experience.
College Junior 2013-08-21T21:56:54Z
there is nothing here, just a library and a auditorium
College Junior 2013-08-21T21:55:48Z
the resources they have here are great. I never have a problem connecting to the network and the instructors always make themselves available for students. Some of them even give you their personal cell phone number so you can call or text them anytime with a question.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
the tuition seems a bit high for a "non-profit" school even after my financial aid and grants i'm still left with a $5,000 gap in my tuition that they're having me pay in monthly payments. It's not too much of a hassle with the monthly payments, they're very small and affordable so it's not really a pocket emptier.

Very small campus and the staff doesn't ever seem prepared for the class. Whenever i have a question about an assignment they have to look it up on google or bing (something i could've done anyway) and then give me my answer after they find it. The directors are great it's just the teaching staff needs improvement.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
College America's Financial aid assistance has helped me a great deal. They found ways to help me and my father get into college and also my cousin as well.

So far I have not had any classes related to my specific major which is Graphic Arts. Although every class that I did have has integrated my major with the assignments that they presented, familiarizing me with the subject. This has helped me gain further knowledge of Graphic Arts its history and the different concepts of Graphic Arts.

Ive taken online classes at a community college and I like them. I haven't started my online classes saat this school yet but Im sure I will enjoy it. some feel they need a more strict schedule that requires them to be in the classroom. I like a mix between both.

I am a new student, therefore a lot depended on my first class. How I liked the class and professor would determine if this is really the school for me. I like my professor and his assignments are not overwhelming. He knows how to relate to us students and that is very important to me. The whole staff at College America have an open door policy and that means more than a lot to me. It makes me feel like family instead of a student.

As I stated earlier. Being a working single mother of two didnt allow me to take on the extra curriculum that a Community College offers. I love being in courses that only benefit my field of study/career choice. The classes are not too overwhelming and although fast paced. Not so fast that you cant keep up. They're at a pace where you dont get bored, as in an average community college

I love that there is tutoring available whenever needed. But I would love more study groups and resources in our library. I know this may take a while but instead of leaving school and having to go to a public library, it would save alot of time if our school library had more books. But everything is a work in progress and I love the school.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
