Recently, the College changed their food services company from the much-ridiculed Sodexo to Bon Appétit, a change that has been very well received. Bon Appétit strives to serve fresh and healthy meals with an eye toward sustainability, and it is a good fit for the CC mentality.
Dining options on campus are still a little limited, mostly because of the size of the student body, but the new caterers provide a consistently high-quality food selection. The main cafeteria, Rastall, serves three meals a day (two on weekends) with a wide variety of standard choices, ranging from pizza, salad, or soup, to grilled or stir-fried meals. Vegetarian and vegan entrées are always available, as well, and the quality of these is comparable to everything else—even meat-eaters will sometimes choose them.
However, even a wide variety can become repetitive after a few months of college food, so the other on-campus options provide a welcome means of breaking the monotony. Most agree that the key to enjoying food at CC is to be creative and try new things on occasion. The other restaurant in the student center Benjamin's (or Benji's) creates made-to-order burritos, noodle bowls, and grill items. The Preserve, a bistro-style restaurant in the apartments across campus, serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and calzones, as well as daily special soups, pastas, and entrées.
But no matter the quality of the catered food at a college, it remains cafeteria food, and students will always find reason to complain. Those people satisfied with the options have learned to be creative at Rastall and use the other locales to add occasional spice to their diets. In addition, for those who'd rather eat at home, a mini-market called Local Goods in one of the dorms has a stock of all the essential staples (as well as toiletries and other supplies) that can be purchased with meal plan money.

Great College Food
Although it's difficult to stay on the cheapest meal plan the food quality is amazingly good. There are so many options whether you're gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, or ready to eat everything in sight. You can grab snacks at the c-store in mathias or create your own pizza at the Preserve. Maybe you're feeling sushi, or perhaps mexican or a burger, Benji's has you covered. If you're not exactly sure what you want Rasty's can be a good option as it's the general dining hall. There are also some stores and restaurants surrounding campus that accept meal plan money.

NEW CATERING!
We have new catering at CC now, and the food is just to die for, I really feel spoiled. There are many variety and different places where one can go and dine on campus. The food might seem pretty expensive, but its better than having to pay a lot and receiving crappy food.
