The people at CC are some of the chillest people around. It isn't really about looks for most people given the fact that nearly everyone's personality is so big.

The guys are cool, for the most part. There isn’t a lot of dating at CC because people tend to have very casual hook ups or super-serious relationships. |

I don’t really know about the bars. I haven’t had the urge to go to any of them. |

The parties on campus are usually preceded by plenty of pre-partying in the dorms. Seniors hold most of the off-campus parties and they usually have themes. The bars in town can be a lot of fun, from Thursday nights at Jack Quinn’s to Margarita Mondays at Panino’s. |

Greek life is not a huge part of CC. However, the small percentages of kids that are involved dominate the social scene and leadership on campus. Greeks are in almost every club, and they’re involved in activities from athletics to community service. The good thing about Greek life at CC is that you don’t live in the house, so it’s not as exclusive as at other schools. |

Food options on such a small campus are sometimes limited, but there are good places if you know where to go. Benjamin’s Café and The Preserve are both good places for sandwiches, as well as a change from the traditional dining hall experience. |

I have never used the public transportation here. There’s a city bus system that comes right by the school, but I don’t know the schedule or routes, so I can’t officially comment on that. |

My mom once said, ‘In Colorado, if you don’t like the weather, just wait 10 minutes.’ Bring your whole wardrobe, from summer stuff to heavy winter jackets—especially if you’re from someplace warm. |

I love being at CC. I can’t see myself anywhere else. The people are great, the Block Plan is great, and it’s where I need to be. As a senior, I’ve learned so much here, and it’s because of the atmosphere that CC provides. With the exception of a few things, I would recommend anyone who is interested to come to Colorado College and check it out. |

I give my full endorsement to this school. However, like any school, the atmosphere has to fit with the student. It’s not for all people, but come and look. Within 10 minutes you’ll know if this is where you want to be. |

CC is a great place to be. A very intensive learning process starts from day one with the small class sizes. The liberal arts degree seems very useful. There are tons of activities, and it’s easy to get involved. The town is nice and block breaks guarantee you at least six awesome vacations a year. Who can beat that? |

Like many universities, Colorado College has made a big effort to increase diversity, both in the students and professors. In a letter to students, the College claimed to have ‘added 12 percent more diversity to campus’ (whatever that may mean). Despite its best efforts, though, Colorado College has remained a relatively homogenous campus. The vast majority of students are white, middle to upper class, and most professors are also white. |

My overall experience here at CC...
My overall experience here at CC has been amazing. I’ve been stretched beyond my limits intellectually, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. I couldn’t have received a better education at any other school. The people that have been attracted to this school are incredible. I’ve been able to witness amazing guest lectures and outside programs. This school highly recommends studying abroad, so I’ve had the amazing opportunity to study in another country. I’ve also been able to continue my passion of playing sports such as volleyball, softball, and snowboarding as well as obtaining an education in biology and pre-med studies. The friends I’ve made are friends that I’ll grow and be in contact with for the rest of my life. My experience here at CC has been better than I ever imagined it being. |

CC isn’t diverse at all. It’s basically a microcosm of rich, white suburbia. |

The cool thing about our student body is that everyone has a story to tell. It’s tough to find a boring CC student, which makes our campus a fun place to be. I always say that there are too many cool kids, and not enough time to hang out with them all. |

I have had a wonderful experience here at CC. I definitely feel I made the right choice of schools. I have learned so much and met so many wonderful friends that I’ll keep my whole life. The mix of academics and a good social life is well-balanced. |

Except for the lack of diversity on campus, I love it here. |

The weather is great. You need to bring warm- and cold-weather clothes. It’s Colorado—wait five minutes and no matter the season, the weather will change. It could be January, and you could be wearing shorts. It’s very unpredictable, but that makes it great. |

They aren’t joking when they tell you we have 300 days of sunshine a year. You can keep a good tan going well through December. |

The weather is very sporadic. It can be snowing in the morning and then 70 degrees and sunny by the time you get out of class for lunch. Overall, though, the weather is great. |

It’s warm in the summer and cold in the winter. But there isn’t much snow down in the low country. The weather is unpredictable, though. It’s best to be ready for extremes. |
