Work Hard, Party Hard.

Drugs are widely used and accepted at CC, but I (and most students) maintain that the students do a good job of balancing working hard and partying hard. Weed is very popular and easily accessible. Also, a lot of students experiment occasionally with "harder" drugs such as acid, mushrooms, and ecstasy. Though alcohol and marijuana are widely (and okay, sometimes excessively) used, people are really laid back and it's totally accepted to abstain from these activities.

Greek Life Is Present at CC, but They're Kind of Their Own Thing

We only have one frat and three sororities, so not very many students participate in Greek Life. Those that do, however, participate to the highest degree. They devote themselves completely to Greek life, and it becomes almost cliquey. If you're not in Greek life, though, you hardly know it exists.
