Colorado State University Pueblo is in a small town, so going to this school is a different kind of University experience. Someone who is interested in having large lecture classes, seeing different people every day, or even attending big events all of the time is not going to enjoy this campus and what the University atmosphere is all about. The average class size is about 30 students, and the big lecture classes only hit about 50 people. It’s a small community; everywhere you go, you will know at least one other person. The campus size can be compared to a high school, so compared with other colleges, it’s not big at all. However, a small campus means less going on all of the time, including shows, speakers, or even weekend parties.

There are advantages to attending a smaller school, though. Closer connections with professors benefit students with their grades as well as with individualized attention during and after class. There is nothing wrong with this school if you are interested in this kind of environment. Also, with a small university, tuition is cheaper. Many students would attend the University again if they had a do-over due to the favorable factors including the small classes, more attention from professors, and lower tuition prices. However, many students would not attend this school for their graduate degrees, as the school is not as impressive compared to other schools available.
