Food options are endless in Fort Collins. Local restaurants dominate over chains and are evenly spread throughout the town. I am beyond satisfied with the available options. There are countless coffee shops, pizza joints, Mexican and Italian restaurants, ethnic cuisine (Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Ethiopian, etc.), sandwich shops, and dessert bars. Prices range from comfortably low to you-only-eat-there-when-your-parents-are-in-town high. Late night options are also available as well as vegan/vegetarian options that aren't boring. Overall, Fort Collins has everything you need with a few unique places sprinkled throughout town.

There are many excellent choices for off-campus dining and most are relatively low cost.

As a broke college student, I don't go out too often; however, Old Town is amazing and has some of the best restaurants. My friends always joke about how the college town is built for college students, but that we'll be here long after college to try everything there is to offer.

Fort Collins has the most restaurants per square mile in the United States. There is a wide variety, and lovely atmosphere.
