I do get good informational e-mails regarding career services available - haven't participated in many yet though. However, many of my classmates who are clos to graduation don't seem to have many options lined up. I'm unsure if this is because of their lack of motivation or lack of guidance.

Although I occasionally take online courses, I still much prefer on ground courses. Even though online courses can be convenient in terms of scheduling, I find that the professor/student relationship is very limited and there, essentially, is no peer-to-peer interaction other than our discussion boards, which is quite limited.

Our student body is very diverse in terms of age, race, ethnicity, nd background. Many of the students are a bit older, returning to school, have been in the military, and have families. Though we socialize in class and around campus, most focus on getting their degrees.

I like the school and everyone who works at school.

I like the our new school location and the social scene is great. The teachers so far have been cool except for 1 or 2 of them.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The reason I gave the school "C" is because I didn't know that my financial was running out until the beinning of this year and that nobody told me that the extra money that I got would work against me, Now I have to pay out of pocket and this situation has put me in a financial bind and if I quite I owe money if I stay I owe money. I believe that the financial Aid employers to explain to the new students coming in just how the extra money works and that it can go against you if you take it.

For my academic program we had to sign a petition to get our 400 leavel classes and I think that as students going to CTU we should not have to do that because the school should already have those classes.

The class registration process is pretty easy, especially now that we have the ability to do it online. My academic advisor has been very helpful as well. The workload is heavy, but as long as you manage your time properly, it's doable. So far, my professors have been very knowledgeable in the subject matter they're teaching, are good at applying what we're learning to real life situations, and have been fair about their grading.

I'm a criminal justice major with a focus on forensic science. So far, my academic experience has been good. Our class sizes are small, so there is ample opportunity to interact with the professors and other classmates. Classes are offered on various days and at various times, so it has been fairly easy to register for classes that fit my current work schedule. The facilities are decent, though I do wish we had a larger library area with more computers available.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition costs are a little bit high, but I do understand that it is a private institution. The financial aid process is always a hassle, but I've managed to get most of what I've needed so far. Best tip I'd give the financial aid department at my school would be to do better at keeping us informed/communication.

Classes are great, professors are great, but the actual offerings and timings are not so great, at least for the IT and CS fields. Also I wish I could be able to minor in Mathematics.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid and advisors are very good about working things out to suit the student needs. Also, a lot of the books for classes are available online free of charge.

Overall I think the school is good, however the class selection and availability during different quarters isn't that great.
College Junior 2013-05-27T01:34:25Z
The best part of CTU is its flexibility in terms of course availability and scheduling. They have many courses offered each term on ground or online and they are offered at various times/on various days.

Much of what you have to do at CTU is through your personal computer portal. So far, I haven't had any difficulties with my portal; it's user friendly and reliable. Because there is so much that is to be done through the student portal, though it's not a requirement, having your own computer or laptop is very helpful
College Junior 2013-05-27T01:28:52Z
CTU has great flexibility in terms of scheduling and classes offered, whether online or on ground. It was easy for me to transfer credits, as I received assistance from my academic advisor.

The student lounge is comfortable. Additionally, the student library is up-to-date and the library staff is very helpful. You also have full access to many tutoring options.

The Greenwood village campus is very easy to get to and the curriculum is very good. My experience at CTU/Greenwood Village has been good.

all computer labs, and the printers all work great.
College Senior 2013-03-25T19:25:47Z
When I first started at CTU Online some of the professors were rude and not very helpful. This is only my opinion but I think that some times the professors forget that they had to start as a student like we did.

The student center is the best, it is clean and the vending machines are always filled with the snacks. The library has many tutors that will help you.
College Senior 2013-02-24T18:08:56Z
It is very difficult to get in touch with your academic advisor to register for classes and the peer-to-peer interaction is almost non-existent. I do like the few professors who teach multiple courses in my degree plan, so that's good! The workload is usually bearable and manageable.
College Senior 2013-02-24T17:45:39Z
There is a nice, clean, student center with snack machines and coffee. Overlooking some busy roads, the student center has an oasis feeling being on the forth floor of the building. The large windows and natural light make for a productive study environment.
College Senior 2013-02-24T17:43:18Z
There is usually an assistant in the campus computer labs, available to answer questions and guide students to the correct/available resources. I take most of my classes online, and I do like the user experience of the online portal: quick, user-friendly, and helpful.

Most of the students are working and trying to better them selves with more knowledge of the degree program they are getting. Most act like adults that they are but some think like they are still in high school. But for the most part it is a great opportunity to meet with different people to learn from their experiences in life.
