Columbia College in Chicago has proven itself to be perhaps the most diverse college in the United States. Columbia encourages diversity, strives to avoid the "norm," and also celebrates and relishes in diversity in every class and each department. Columbia offers the following departments to promote diversity: African-American Cultural Affairs, Asian Cultural Affairs, Latino Cultural Affairs, LGBTQ Office of Culture & Community, International Programs, International Student Affairs, and Multicultural Student Affairs.
