Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Columbia College is located in the South Loop of downtown Chicago. The atmosphere is thriving, creative, cozy, and most importantly, safe. The Columbia campus is spread between three streets wide and 14 blocks long. There isn't a place on campus you can't get to by walking.

Surrounding the area are plenty of neighborhood restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and convenience stores. Because of the Harold Washington Library, seven colleges have placed their campuses in the South Loop. With college students everywhere, education is in the air, and motivation is around every corner.

Chicago Is Beautiful

Columbia is in the heart of downtown. There is so much to do, so much to see! All the trains and buses are close by so you can visit the beautiful and diverse north side, ritsy downtown, the south side or any of the great shopping here!

Chicago Is a Winner

You can't go wrong in the city. It's pretty limitless. The only reason I'd give it a minus is that I love New York even more.

A City to Love

Chicago always has something to do. There is never a dull moment. Millenium Park, Grant Park, Navy Pier, tons of movie theaters and attractions. And not to forget there's a lot of diverse yummy food. I just hate it being cold and sometimes I get sick of large crowds.
