Papertrial

The process was time consuming to get accepted and process the paperwork and for someone with limited resources it can be a hassle but once it's done your set. I feel you're not given all the advice you can get, but you are assisted. You're going to need loans your first year and if you manage not to, I'm envious, and wish I knew how to avoid.

Night at the CCH

The events are frequent and no matter what your age you can partake in free meals provided both pre and post events. We screen film both student and none, we host themed parties such as the Oscars or Comedy night. We put on theatre productions, Glee concerts and musicals. Around Columbia for the 21 and up crowd bars are scattered throughout the Valley and most are very friendly and inviting, you can't go wrong.

International

Columbia is one of the only school where you can meet a person from every country, every orientation, every creative aspect of film. I enjoy the warm welcome I feel as an African American Native American part Irishmen and alos as a gay man. I don't feel alone an any aspect of life. Even religion and daily interest/hobbies are shared. I'm not the only vegan/vegetarian. With such a small student population Columbia is the place for me. But they do need more vegan options, who puts cheese in salad?
