Limited Lab Space

While the main computer lab and the library's mobile lab are usually full during lunch and sometimes in the evening, the network reliability and speed are good. Printing is one of the pros of the computers at CIU. You can print in the main computer lab, the library, as well as in most dorms and in the grad school building. The campus is also has wireless access, so work and Internet access can be done wherever you are comfortable. While I would recommend bringing your own computer for use in your room or when the library or lab is crowded, a personal printer is definitely not necessary.

The People Are So Great You Hardly Notice

The dorm buildings on one side of campus are awaiting renovation, but it will come in a year or 2. Otherwise dorm life is a blast. Once you get off campus the are is not so good, but campus itself is pretty safe. It takes 5-15 min to get anywhere.
