There isn't a library. There isnt a disability center or testing center. They have pretty good selection of film equipment. The don't have lots of activities. Even if they had. Activities you won't have time to do it.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It worth it because of the class side and closeness you get with professors, but the speed of the classes goes so fast and lots of it is done on your own you feel like you could have saved the money and done it on your own.

Hands on Learning – I chose Compass because their program is hands on reminiscient of apprenticeship programs of the past. Our teachers are people who have or are working in the industry (film production). We learn all aspects of the profession so that we can graduate, walk onto a film set and know what we are doing. We know the basics of set protocol, vocabulary of the industry and the basics of the equipment we will encounter. At the end of classroom, we have a two month internship where we work in the industry with professionals. Best program I've seen for this type of training.

Most of our student body is males between 18 and 25. There are a few older students and only a very few women. I understand, however, that registration for next year is nearly half women! It sounds like they are trying to get a greater diversity. There are a few "minorities" which is how many there would be in a class of only 50 students. An okay mix, but could be better.

This is a very small school. Only 50 students. There are not any problems with classes/curriculum or registering. It is a set accelerated group of courses that we all take. Have not tried to transfer credits out yet. There isn't any transferring in of credits at this time.

Post Graduate Services – I haven't graduated yet, so don't know from personal experience. It appears that they will be very good.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Small School - Individual Attention – This is a small private school that has just received accreditation. The financial aid person works with each individual student to get funded. She is learning along with the students about financial aid available. She is very knowledgeable about personal finance and teaches a small segment in one of our classes.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
