After completing the Dental Assisting Program at Concorde, I received phone calls from the Career Services Department to help arrange interviews for me and work on my resume, if needed. I am very excited to finish Dental Hygiene and know that the Career Services will help assist me in finding employment.

I have completed the DA program at Concorde and have started the Dental Hygiene Program. I am in my second term so starting next Monday my classes will be available online. Up to this point, I have not completed any online courses with Concorde.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel that it is expensive. I didn't get much financial assistance because of me working and still being considered dependent even though I don't live at home. I had to take out 2 loans and am working part time to save for them while going to school.

I am pursuing medical assistant and I love it.The teachers are really great and helpful. They make sure everyone is on top of their game and ready for any exams. They are really empathetic and will do their best to prepare us for the lesson.

Absolutely the best, the teachers are engaging. Registration is easy, Curriculum is difficult along with the study material but that's easy to overcome with time and patience. Extra credit is not that hard to gain if you are an outgoing intelligent individual. I highly recommend the school to those in the lower income bracket. Best school with the most affordable and helpful means.

I am a dental assistant student with Concorde Career College, and I have refered a few friends to inquire about their own future here. The teachers and administration are more than helpful with all situations I've brought up to them, and are engaging with the subjects they are teaching without putting me to sleep. The workload can be somewhat overwhelming at first, but the other students are very helpful with allowing the newer students to adjust.

They have a great program. 2 hours lecture 2 hours hands on lab. 9 month program for dental assistant then they assist you in getting a job.

I have not done any online courses although I have heard that math courses are easier to take online. I take courses on campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I will be getting is well worth the effort. I am getting a little bit of finacial aid, which helps. the finacial aid office gives you options for finacial aid but I would have to say that I think taking out a loan is not a good idea unless getting a loan that I would have to pay after college. I would rather work hard and apply for scholarships instead.

My school consists of hard working students with part time jobs. They work hard every night on their schoolwork to do the best of their ability. Socializing and making friends is good but their priority is to do excellent in school and get a job that they are passonate about.

I made friends I'll have for life, and memories I'll never forget. Teachers invested so much of their time to teach me a career they are so passionate about that I am hoping to become the same.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Concorde had their moments but the school is not government funded so more expensive in the long run college program vs community college program, the goal seemed to be more on the number of students to be accepted financially and money to be collected, otherwise no interest. Financial aid was offered and beneficial but no other information was aided to be helpful in any way when a student was in a bind.

Student teacher interaction somewhat strong. Diversity not much I would say, a lot of these students are parents and those wanting a face paced program, hince accelerated classes.

We have two doctors and three dental hygienist who are our teachers. They prepare us specifically for written and clinical exams. Getting a job after the program is not a worry for me. But you do have to be mental prepared and focused to be able to complete this program. The curriculum is intense and specific. Yes we have fun learning, but this is not a joke when I say its a workload.

Easy Easy Easy! The professors at Concorde are professional yet friendly. You can go to them with ease to ask for help and help will be provided. Class registration was so easy! My academic adviser is a saint. Not a big workload-nothing crazy, anyway. Concorde has options for tutoring, which are easy to access as well.

Dental Hygeine – First, the teachers are very supportive and are willing to stay later or come in at a different day to help, one-on-one, tutor you. Also, the teachers plan out the class day accurately for you to get some of your homework done in class, in case you have quick-response questions. The teacher's curriculum is specific to exactly what we, the students, need to learn and concentrate on that. We aren't wasting our time on the "maybe" information; its strictly need-to-know! I also had taken previous classes at another community college and Concorde made the transferring process very clear. With ease for me, all the classes I thought would transfer did.

I have been a student at CCI for a month and so far it has been horrible. Today we got our midterm grades, and even though i am passing everything with at least a B. Not one person in that school could tell me how the grades are calculated. No one ever knows anything. The famous response is "I'm not sure". I havent missed any days but they have me as being absent for 3% of the program and once again no one could tell me why. I am sick of the vague responses from the teachers and administrators. The teachers barely teach anything and if you have a question the response is "read your chapters". I do read my chapters but i thought going to class was so the teacher could clarify anything i didnt understand. I am basically self teaching so now i'm really trying to figure out where the $30,000 tuition is going. They have some piss poor teachers up there. They dont care about student issues and they damn sure dont care about student rights. I'm stuck in it now but a word of the wise, if you are considering going to Concorde in Kansas City, DO NOT DO IT.

I Havent Finished – I have not yet finished my program but the students that have finished said that they are helpful, and they usually get hired on with their externship.

I Never Done It – ive never done an online course, but i have heard that they are harder because you dont have the help of a teacher right there to help you when you a question. its also not as stright forward to what is suppose to be done.

Pretty Good – in concorde of kansas city the staff trys to get to know you on a first name basis, they always greet you and make you feel wanted to be there. Now the students, of course you have your everyday kids that have a click and love to talk about other students for something to do. otherwise everyone helps everyone out. Everything is hands on so that always helps when you dont understand something during the lecture.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
