CUW is a great place to connect with international students. There are students from lots of places, including China, Russia, Korea, and Nigeria. They are very interested in learning English, as well as sharing their experiences in America. A con of the University is that it can be described as a "suitcase college" where most students go home for weekends and holidays. There is not much to do for a student who does not have family close by or a car to travel for recreational activities.
At times some students say they feel stifled when attending this college because so many students have the same background and are not very accepting of other viewpoints. The professors are helpful and nice, so I would not mind attending this school again as a commuter in a field of study such as Lay Ministry or Education.
