Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

CUW is a great place to connect with international students. There are students from lots of places, including China, Russia, Korea, and Nigeria. They are very interested in learning English, as well as sharing their experiences in America. A con of the University is that it can be described as a "suitcase college," where most students go home on the weekends and holidays. There is not much to do for a student who does not have family close by or a car to travel to recreational activities.

At times, some students say they feel stifled when attending this University because so many students have the same background and are not very accepting of other viewpoints. The professors are helpful and nice, so many don't mind attending this school as a commuter in a field of study such as lay ministry or education.

Interesting Housing Options

They really don't give you much of an option on where to live, but even when they do, they wave the carrot in front of your face and snatch it away once u take a bite! They really have no set rules on housing, and I think they should. My suggestion is to live off campus and commute into school, but then parking is a huge issue as well.
