Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews are not required to apply to Conn, but are highly recommended and can help your chances of getting in. They are also a great chance to learn more about Connecticut College. Interviews are conducted by both Admission Counselors and Admission Fellows, a group of seniors selected and trained by the Admissions staff. To schedule an interview, contact the Office of Admissions at (860) 439-2200. Call ahead to schedule interviews; spots are limited and fill quickly.

Campus Tours

Campus tours are highly recommended during a visit to Connecticut College. There are three seasonal schedules: spring semester, summer, and fall semester. Because the times of the tours change, it is best to visit camel2.conncoll.edu/admissions/visiting/tours and call ahead at (860) 439-2200 to make sure that you have the accurate times. An alternative is to take a self-guided tour. Just grab a map, available next to the Horizon Admission House’s front door, and go exploring. If possible, try to take a guided tour, as you’ll have a real life Camel on hand to answer all your questions.

Overnight Visits

What better way is there to discover whether or not you like Conn than to come visit for yourself? If you can swing it, attending actual classes and staying in a dormitory for a night will give you the gritty, unfiltered Conn experience. Overnight visits for prospective students are available for six weeks in the fall, beginning in early October and lasting through mid November. Call the Admission Office at (860) 439-2200 for available visit dates for admitted students. Have fun, and don’t forget a sleeping bag.
