Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid is provided for those that need it. There is also an EOPS. I recommend signing up for financial aid as soon as possible. However, during the first couple weeks of school may be difficult and lines are literally packed. They will tell you the same thing over and over again and you must push them and really ask what you need to do and what you've already done.

This school is very convenient. It is right in my backyard, classes are available as long as you sign up for them in time. Teachers are lenient on work and everything is accessible.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition for me being a low income student is at a decent pricing considering that I am fortunate to receive financial aid and cal grants.

The school is very diverse. You will find people from all different backgrounds and they all merge as one but yet acknowledge the differences in each individual in a positive light.

I do not really go to them for much advice but when I have questions they seems to be able to answer them or atleast point me in the right direction.

there is deffenately room for improvement. there are things that can be learned and students need support from counselors and teachers. even thought it is better than nothing, there should be more of a concern for the students who are willing to learn.

I am a Psycology major, though i still have to take general ed. it is hard to attain the clasess that i need in order to dtransfer and the couseling situatiion could be alot better. I think the system could be a lot better and i could get a lot more out of the school than i am today. there were some classes that i have taken that met some of the standards of an adiquate college course but overall it could have been better

I enjoy WIFI without issues usually. Sometimes the online classes logins are a little slow but usually its fine. There lots of computers to use at the centers or library.

I give them an A because it's a community college with the feel of a university. It has a good size campus and a great library. The professors are very capable and helpful. There's lot's of administrative assistance as well.

Most of the students are both part-time and full-time students. Many work while in school others are dedicated to sports and clubs. Contra Costa College is the place where you can learn and grow from making friends are really easy.

I chose a B because its the average grade. My school is one of the most diverse colleges in the bay area, therefore I feel like there are many students who come and are serious about receiving an education, but unfortunately many drop out before finishing due to the fact that they can't afford college and are forced to work to support their families. When you walk around the school you always see a variety of ethnic backgrounds, there is not one ethnicity that stands out to me because of the diversity.

I have been a student here for a while, and overall have had a very positive experience. Most of the teachers are great for the exception of a couple.

The facilities on campus aren't bad. There's a gym and a brand-new auditorium for theatre performances and other events. Even though it's not a campus students live on, it's definitely a comfortable campus to hang out at between classes, whether you're getting coffee at the student union or catching up on some reading at the library.
