Converse has an all-women's undergraduate program. There are fewer than 10 male graduate students and a handful of male staff and faculty, but the majority of the Converse community is female. Since there are far fewer guys at Converse than girls, the undergraduate women tend to have serious long-distance relationships with men outside of the school. There are a few students who have casual relationships, but, overall, undergrads either have a serious long-distance relationship or no relationship at all during their time at Converse.
There are many different types of women studying at the College, with some described as smart and friendly and others as creative and artsy. The fun, friendly women at Converse contribute to an active social scene at the school. While you may not find a relationship during your time at Converse College, you’ll certainly find great friends and a lot of social activities to participate in with your classmates.
