Unless your parents live within a 35-mile radius of Converse or you’re over age 24 and/or married, you are expected to live on Converse’s campus. This is an unpopular policy with Converse students, who feel that it would be much more affordable to live off campus. Considering that Converse just spent a substantial sum of money building apartment-style senior housing, it is unlikely that this policy is going to change in the next few years.
Since most Converse students do not meet the requirements to live off campus, they live in campus housing. There are a few undergrads that live in an apartment while claiming to live with their parents, so it is entirely possible to lie by omission. However, this can become a rather complicated situation where you either have to look for an apartment you can afford on your own or be discreet in looking for roommates. Overall, expect to pay the room and board to live on campus.
