Corban University athletics has a mission of putting Christ first. I believe our athletics are 5-star because we carry out that mission statement. As a varsity track athlete I have been encouraged to succeed but never forced to put sports above my personal well-being. Our sports programs develop life-long healthy individuals.

Sports are very highly respected here.

Corban is a very small school compared to state universities. This makes the athletics at our school suffer a little. However, there is a show up to games, especially basketball. Our baseball team has also grown a lot. The most popular sports at Corban would be basketball first, and then baseball. Although we have a good golf, soccer, and volleyball program as well. The athletes at Corban are stand up people. They are admired and friendly.

We have some varsity sports, but most of the games for them are not well attended, except for mens basketball. The facilities are a little bit subpar as the baseball, softball, and soccer fields flood regularly in the spring and winter. However the gym is pretty nice and works well for how small of a school Corban is. Intramurals are pretty big here, with new sports coming around every once in a while, most recently they added a lacrosse tournament.

The athletics are not the center of my school, but they still play a big part in campus life. The school gets everyone involved. Many people come to the games and cheer for our school. The teams do average, but the school spirit is astounding. Our facilities are small compared to other colleges, but they are still really nice, and work well for their purpose.
