The biochemistry/molecular biology program at Cornell is taught by fantastic teachers and prepares you for the MCATs, as well as medical school. The facilities are not limiting, despite being a small school, and they offer many internship and job opportunities.

The faculty in the biochemistry department are fantastic. They help you find internships and even support you financially during your experience. I have not had an internship yet; however, I plan on partaking in one as soon as possible. Cornell College will make this easy and available to do so.

the education department has been absolutely wonderful in ensuring that we take our state exams on time and offers truly rigorous coursework. This is one of the hardest majors at cornell but the professors are totally worth it.

A Helpful Professor – Cornell has numerous majors to choose from. Being a junior this year, I am just starting out in my classes for my Kinesiology major. So far, everything is going great. I have all of my classes picked out that I need to take to get my degree completed on time. A professor is going to let me take a class before I take the prerequisite so I can complete all the classes on time. That was very helpful! If I could do it all over again, I would have tried to figure out what I wanted to major in a lot earlier. My career goals are go to back to school after Cornell so then I can get my masters and find a job. I am not worried about finding a job in my field at the moment.

I was undeclared at first and didn't take the classes that I should have for this major. I took electives. Now I am playing catch-up. Cornell is on the One Class At A Time block plan so classes are 3 1/2 weeks long. The classes are aggressive. My career goals are to graduate and possibly go on to Chiropractor School or another medical school. I am not sure about the jobs in my field with the current economy. So I will have to play it by ear and see how things are when I graduate.
