Cornell career services provide all of the crucial resources for finding your ideal job or internship. Barnes Hall has a library stocked with books on different career paths and specific industries. Career counselors conduct mock interviews with students and advise them on appropriate strategies and successful methods. One service uses a series of computer tests to assess a student’s interests to find an ideal industry. Start early and take advantage of all that the Cornell career services office has to offer. Sign up for Cornell’s custom MonsterTrak service and register your career profile as soon as possible to receive e-mails on job postings and obtain updates on campus recruiting. If you want to research, start looking early! Look at some professor’s online profiles, find a topic you’re interested in, and contact the professor to get involved. Most are willing to take one some undergraduate research assistants.
