Campus Tours

The information and referral center offers guided walking tours of the campus throughout the year, except from late December through early January. The tours are an enjoyable and informative introduction to Cornell and its history, student life, and combined roles as an undergraduate teaching institution, an international research university, and New York State’s land-grant institution. Tours begin at the information and referral center in the Day Hall lobby and appointments are not required. The tours are mostly outdoors and last about one hour and 15 minutes. It includes information about Cornell’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools and colleges. The Information and Referral Center (607) 254-INFO www.admissions.cornell.edu/visit Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Overnight Visits

There are numerous hotels and motels in Tompkins County available at reasonable prices. Additionally, during events such as Cornell Days or Cornell Red Carpet Society, students may be able to stay with a current student. For more information, visit: www.admissions.cornell.edu/.
