I haven't graduated just yet, but naturally the Career Center does not gurantee placement into jobs. In the Career Center they usually give you temporary jobs, not usually for a students major.

Rarely does the computer network has problems. Even though, this is true there are times where the whole campus electricity goes out from time to time. The printers are pretty good. I've never had a problem with them before.

It can be difficult taking an online course because of no interaction with the teacher and being able to stay at home but it also motivates you because the work needs to be put in in order to get the grade.

Professors- Professors at Crafton are very helpful. If you express concern, they try to help!
Curriculum- A lot of the classes at Crafton are easy but challenging. They demand that you do the work and do it right, but the work is almost always interesting.
Class registration- If you are a first time student at Crafton registering can be a challenge. After you get the hang of it it becomes easy aside from waiting to get the class you need.
Workload- Some classes have a big workload but the information that is acquired while doing the work is priceless! Other classes have a really good schedule so that when work is given you have a reasonable amount of time to complete it. Sometimes you get a teacher that really believes that nothing else goes on outside of their class. They don't remember that students have other classes.

It's not quite the end of the semester so I am hoping I got an A.at least that's what I striving for. Most of the teachers are good about responding to your questions, but there are a few that go several weeks before they grade. Difference between going in class if immediate answers, I have some disabilities so this is perfect for me. Sometimes there is a lot of homework
defending on the teacher and a lot of reading. You have to be self disciplined take on line classes.

The Child Development program at Crafton is very tight knit. The teachers are so helpful! Our school also has a child care center where students can observe and practice what they are learning.

I am very happy with my experience here at Crafton Hills College. I would recommend this school to anyone who is needing to get some fabulous credits especially in the schience field.

The campus is very beautiful and enjoyable. There aren't many students, so getting to know your professor is very easy. Every faculty member is willing to help, and there are many opportunities for students to succeed.

They are very friendly and willing to help you in any way that you need. They have frequent visitors from other schools for transferring students.

As a psychology major I found that all of the psych professors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They had the most interesting class structures, the most community and school involvement, the most opportunities for extra credit, and the most accessibility for additional help.

Due to the economy a lot of classes are being cut which makes it harder for people to get majors, especially if you're only taking two or three classes a semester since registration is based on the units you've already received. But most teachers are very available and willing to help, and my experience with the councilors is that they're more than willing to help if you already know what you want.

CHC mostly consists of young students coming out of high school. Everyone is relatively friendly, but, as a general rule, keep to themselves.

The classes are reasonably spaced out, and can allow for any schedule type to make classes work. I have just noticed that some subjects dont offer as many classes with different times.

I enjoyed the time at the tutor center, but only half the tutors actually knew how to educate others on their specific subject. One tutor enjoys to educate her peers on English, but others seem to dislike their job.

I actually like the computer lab located at the library and the tutor center. The people that work through the work study are pretty helpful and it only costs 10 cents to print. The wireless access I use through my phone it is decent speed.

I tried working out at the gym in CHC and was turned alway. I was told I had to buy insurance from the school by registering for a PE class. I told them I am taking 18 credits and I am a current student, why would I need to sign up for another class, just to utilize the gym.
College Junior 2013-02-18T04:11:53Z
I choose this school because it was literally around the corner from my house. Some of the classes are extremely easy, but not challenging. I plan to transfer to a 4 year college for nursing, so CHC doesn't seem to prepare for a Cal State or University standard. Overall some of the teachers mean well, but I rather be challenged than to be entertained.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think in all scholls as far as financial aid goes, it would be nicer if more people qualified.. But as far as my education goes it is worth every dollar spent here

Our campus has upgraded itself in many ways. Editing parking lots, new classrooms, and an amazing new library. There are tons if awesome clubs on campus and people are very nice and welcoming.

The online experience overall probably depends on the class you take and the teacher that offers the online course. I have only took one class online, Psych 111 (Human Life Span development) and I am very pleased with the online experience. Of course, one most schedule his or her time to work on the material for the class, but the teacher was quick at responding to emails and every month he would give his office hours that he was available at. the best advice I can give though for taking an online class, is make time for the class because it can be easy to fall behind and become lazy with the online class

The student Body at Crafton Hills college is very diverse. Many different races and cultures attend school. The students here are very nice and their ages vary but the majority are recently graduated high school students. Some students work and go to school at the same time. the typical student here wants to get his or her foot in the door and experience the "college life". Most students also hope to transfer to four- year colleges after he or she meets the requirements. Overall, the students here are hard-workers that strive for his or her career/ goals.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
