Whether there’s something in the water, brainwashing sound bites being pumped through the heating ducts, or it’s genuine, Creighton students overwhelmingly seem to believe they are involved in a passionate love affair with their college. It’s tough to blame them, though. You not only take classes, you really grow and develop with the school. The professors, and even administrators, will guide you and offer you support at all times, encouraging you to seek them out in office hours to help you reach your potential. In some ways, Creighton students seem to fear leaving just because the place is such a fairytale university. Students actually seem to care about one another and the world. As one student said, the Jesuit spirit of service and concern for others really seems to pass from students and teachers, who truly care about one another. There are some definite lookers on campus, but there are some brown baggers too. You'll find your preps, lax bros, laxitutes, and even the occasional Californian or Hawaiian surfer. The 60-40 girl to guy ratio is nice if you're a guy, too. |
