Whether there’s something in the water, brainwashing sound bites being pumped through the heating ducts, or it’s genuine, Creighton students overwhelmingly seem to believe they are involved in a passionate love affair with their college. It’s tough to blame them, though. You not only take classes, you really grow and develop with the school. The professors, and even administrators, will guide you and offer you support at all times, encouraging you to seek them out in office hours to help you reach your potential.
In some ways, Creighton students seem to fear leaving just because the place is such a fairytale university. Students actually seem to care about one another and the world. As one student said, the Jesuit spirit of service and concern for others really seems to pass from students and teachers, who truly care about one another. Anyone who wants a school where it’s impossible to be just a number would find that Creighton is a No. 1 choice.
Midwest weather is extremely bipolar. It will be sunny and nice outside one day but the next it will be snowing and miserable. Be sure to pack a lot of warm clothing for the long winter.
I'm really happy with the business program right now. Great classes and great teachers to take. The sciences are also great but very rigorous.
Great range of majors to choose from at Creighton.
Creighton only gives out merit scholarships to everyone, besides a couple other scholarships, but those are extremely hard to get. Getting a job on campus is frustrating because they are all given away for people who receive need-base work study.
There are a lot of places off campus to go. There is this place not far from campus called the Old Market, where there are so many restaurants and different places to go.
