I believe Crowder really emphasizes on degrees that would be more practical to the working world.

Crowders computer network is up to date and available at all times for any student. This has been helpful to me for many of my classes that use online study guides.

There are many students attending Crowder that graduated High School with me, making the transition to the classroom a more comfortable one. I have also met new people from different States and Countries making Crowder a very diverse College.

So far my work load hasn't been to bad, and all of my teachers were very helpfull. And they seems to have a pretty good open door policy any time i needed to talk they were there.

I have not been very involved in most of the social scene of the college. I have a family at home. So I tend to go home after class. Between classes I go to the student center to read.

I have seemed to have very good results with the wifi on campus and any of the labs I have been in. Everyone seems really helpfull.

The campus has alot of social gatherings for students to be involved in. There are alot of new things coming, and alot of remodeling on the Dorms and the campus.

The career center is a great place for help with find a job after college. I have not had a chance to use it's facilities yet but I do plan to.

I am currently enrolled in online classes at Crowder College, they are very flexible. The teacher's are more than willing to meet with me whenever it is convenient.

There is no teacher/student relationship. You don't know actually what the test wants and the teacher doesn't understand what you are asking

It has been pretty easy to make my schedule the past two years and they offer multiple classes and multiple teachers to fit everyone's needs.

Overall I feel that Crowder can challenge their students more to prepare them for Universities they may be attending after Crowder.

Crowder only allots you an associates degree and does make available a few bachelors degrees through other colleges they have partnerships with but they do not promote the Career Services strongly at all and when I have tried to access the site I found it incredibly difficult.

I feel that the instructors could push me more than they have. So far it has been easy and I haven't had to put forth much effort but that's how high school was for me.

Crowder College is a great school to start out attending after high school. It helped me ease into getting the hang of college and I would recommend it to all students especially thinking about the thousands of dollars I have saved by attending Crowder.

Though there is some diversity through the international students that are enrolled, the vast majority is ultra conservative and narrow minded. In english classes, be prepared to hear a minimum of 3 essays to be over defending the right to bear arms. Not a very friendly place for a liberal student.

The reason I choose this grade is because everyone is so helpfull and nice. They made it very easy to enroll in my classes and answered any questions I had.

I'm a pre-engineering major at Crowder, planning to transfer in a semester. I've found that I enjoy the education I receive here, the teachers seem to actually take an interest in what I do and the class sizes are small. The courses specific to my major, such as physics chemistry and calculus, are actually engaging. My professor of physics actually takes an active interest in his students, and I feel like I EARN the grade that I receive instead of it simply being granted facetiously. There are only two complaints I have. Because the school is so small and the number of engineering majors in any class is even smaller (less than 10 or 20) the times available for those courses are limited. As such I find myself having to schedule my work around my school. The other issue I have is not an institutional one but a nationwide one, which is the requirement on general education. I specifically don't appreciate the required community service commitment for graduation. I work and go to school full time, this seems like an unnecessary burden.

While the courtesy of the ladies that helped me was quite pleasant, the knowledge that I left their office with was quite dissappointing.. I foind myself having to make several calls, and write just as many emails to ask questions that I felt like should have been answered or brought to my attention the first initial day in the process.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
