Well one of the few things that college gives me is independence. I was never able to have that when I was in high school. The teachers allow us to do whatever we want just as long as were not disrespectful towards them. I'm also allow to wear whatever I want which is good since I have been wearing uniforms for the last 7 years.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I believe that the tuition for this school is very reasonable to me. However, I wish it would be a little easier to get scholarships and afford classes.

They tell me that it's good to go here first because it gives you a start on what college will be like before someone, like me, plans on going away to college. I also get the option of not having to go for the full two years as well as being able to transfer my credits when I'm done.

Well I'm majoring in Business Administration in Liberal Arts. I haven't taken any classes yet but I'm going to apply for some soon. I did however take some business classes in high school and they were occasionally challenging but I was able to get through.

Well at first I didn't want to go to this college but after doing some stuff at the college over the summer it's starting to grow on me.

staff are very willing to help out the students get the education advice and
support they need to get through their courses.

Depends if they show up or not lol. The ones that do show up are there to get there degree and get a nice job not to make friends. I agree completely with this attitude.

There are alot of fun clubs to join at the school. Such as the drama club in the performing arts building
College Senior 2012-12-28T20:03:22Z
The cafeteria should be a little bigger so students can have more room to sit down and eat

The internet wireless access is perfect. I can access the internet everywhere i go on campus. This gives me time to search for anything that i may need if i'm not near a computer. I could use my phone to look for anything.

Cumberland County College is a clean enviorment. The students and professors are very polite. There is always someone there to help you. The gymnasium and workout room is by far my favourite place to be on campus.

The computer network is being upgraded and is improving all the time. The system software is being changed and is going pretty well, but there are sometimes uploading problems.
Overall response time is excellent. Tech support is always on top of any issue that I bring to them and have quick solutions and workarounds when needed.

I've been pretty surprised to find that many professors seem better suited to be high school teachers.

I recently changed my major from liberal arts & psychology to nursing. I took some general ed classes so far, and they have been a hit or miss. Some of my professors offer really interesting course material, but other classes have been a disaster. I can't give much of an opinion on the nursing program, but it's said to be very good.

Everyone is there for one thing, to learn and experience what career you might be interested in. The people are pretty friendly .

I was a little hesitant in taking online courses, but found it quite interesting to be able to do the required work at my own pace and time, without the hassle of going into class.

The most that Cumberland County College offers is a work-study program, but it isn't specific enough to reach out to broader career paths.

The Teachers Are Passionate – The teachers that I have had all know exactly what they are talking about. Most of them are very passionate about what they do and it makes the class more enjoyable. Since they are so passionate it makes it more interesting and exciting.
