Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Baruch is in Manhattan, meaning there is a wide variety of dining options for students. There are several nearby cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, and fast food spots, which include Subway, Popeyes, McDonald’s, and Wendy’s. For students who prefer to get healthier foods, they can walk a few blocks to Whole Foods in Union Square. In addition to these places, many students also like to buy from the food carts, which serve ready-made items like sandwiches, gyros, and burgers. At least three of them are generally parked outside of Baruch’s Vertical Campus, while others are located just a few blocks away. Pizzerias, fast food restaurants, and food carts tend to be the more popular spots.

As you walk through the streets of this area, you are bound to find tons of restaurants that serve different kinds of foods, including Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Bengali, and Indian. Also, these places can range from inexpensive to full-service and classy. While it’s impossible to list all eateries within walking distance of Baruch, visiting Web sites like www.menupages.com and www.zagat.com can help you make a dining choice.
