The campus has the right mix of strictness and most behavior is student and peer regulated.

They're very big on plagarism. But professors are very lenient about when to hand in the work.

It's a safe campus, you need your school or cuny id to enter any part of the school street locations, library, gym and other locations with activities within the school. The school has fair policies to follow and have the freedom to hang out with friends or have events on campus.

Brooklyn College enforces a strict no smoking policy on the campus. There are areas right outside of the campus that people can go to smoke, but some choose to ignore the rule and smoke inside of the campus. It is frustrating to breath in their smelly smoke. They can smoke if they wish, I don't judge, but I personally do not wish to inhale the smoke. I appreciate the rule and signs everywhere. Sometimes the security guards enforce the rule, but sometimes I feel like they choose to "not see" the smoking taking place. It is really not THAT bad, though, I personally notice only about 3 - 4 people a week smoking in plain sight. I guess others are more careful. Other than this specific issue, the security guards are great and ALWAYS ID you when you enter campus. MAkes you feel safer, for sure!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
