There are more people at the college during Monday through Friday, the college is actually closed on Sundays and on Saturday only a handfull of classes even run.
It's a busy campus on weekdays. It is a commuter campus so not easy to get involved in social stuff.
This college is pretty social. During "club hours", spirit week, and when the weather is nice city college is often packed and live with Social events.
To interact and contribute on College Prowler, registration is required. Don't worry, it's free, secure, and only takes a few minutes.

New York City is known for its many cultures, and CCNY is no different. The environment is very heterogeneous with a variety of student ethnicities, age groups, economic statuses, and political beliefs. Students come from all across the world.
Economically, most are middle to lower class Americans seeking the opportunity to pursue their education at an affordable price. The socio-economic similarities put students on common ground, but the diverse backgrounds allow for intercultural exploration. Ideologies are constantly clashing—capitalsits mingling with communists and atheists talking with conservative Christians, for example—but the ultimate outcome is tolerance. Sexuality and differing beliefs become less of a problem due to the atmosphere at CCNY.
