In New York City the weather is very tolerable in Winter as well as Summer. It is very unique for intolerable storms.

Most professors are great, but there are a few who are insensitive and don't give that extra caring some students may need. Curriculum is great for a fulltime student when you have a balanced choice of courses.

Public transportation is very close to College.

New York is a melting pot of different ethnicities and cultures.

Guys & Girls:
Females are average and most are very socially oriented.

In New York there is always some where to party. Transportation is near college which would give you access to the whole city.

If you have a parking permit it is okay, but if you have no permit it can be very difficult to park.

The school is great and most faculty members are helpful. The school has easy access to nearby transportation. Close to restaurants and shopping areas.

Most internships are not that easy to be accepted and majority are voluntary are no voluntary.

Yes I would do it over again. Programs are very informing for students who put in the work.

From what I hear living in campus housing is pretty good. Based on what I hear I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 5.

The weather changes all year round. Its been a strange years so far. We are coming close to winter and on some days it feels like its still summer or early fall. Weather plays a role, sometimes teachers want to have classes outdoors, some classes require outdoor work.

I'm not sure of there are parties or not, there probably are, but I choose not to go, I'm not about the party scene.

Guys & Girls:
Girls are the majority on campus, there so many to try and generalize in a survey, because I probably haven't seen as many as I think. The guys are rare. There aren't that many of us, but we are cool calm and relatable

Health & Safety:
I'm not having any problems with health or safety.

Everyone is very different, and there are all sorts of clubs and groups that are both open and exclusive to all of the diversity in school.

There is always something interesting to eat. But the prices sometimes keep me away from certain foods, which is fine, because there is such a wide variety to choose from. And if it isn't the prices that keep me away, it's waiting for my food to be prepared.

I would choose this school again because it is so convenient, and it surpassed my expectations of a CUNY school. I wouldn't choose it again, because I really want to try living in another state or travel abroad; its for the sake of experience.

There a ton of computer labs throughout the campus. But it is very helpful to have a computer of your own, whether it be for not taking or school work. Emails are sent out regularly so having some sort of device for checking mail is helpful. WiFi is good, but can't be accessed in a few buildings. Personal printer is good to have as well.

Some good places to eat would be the diners on Bedford and Kingsbridge, they offer a variety of foods. A lot of their choices are probably more healthy than eating at McDonald's.

I live close by so I walk. There are 3-4 bus, 2 trains, and a huge parking lot for those who make longer trips getting to school.
College Sophomore 2013-11-05T12:54:32Z
Most events happen on campus, but there are other public events around Kingsbridge. The atmosphere outside of campus is very different depending on which exit you come by. Some areas are relaxing, others are busy, either with general traffic or Bronx science students or other high, middle, and elementary school students.

Financial aid is hard to come by but when you get it, it feels wonderful. The office often times has a huge line of people waiting, if your lucky, there will be days where at most you only wait 15 - 25 minutes. What I do is try to get to the office very early and stand by the door so no one takes my spot.

Lehman is a smoke free environment, the staff and faculty take drinking and smoking seriously. From my time at Lehman so far, I've never seen or heard anything about drug use or alcohol consumption on campus.
College Freshman 2013-11-04T00:44:49Z
There is always a student engaging activity, wether is yoga class, dance class, ice cream(for the whole campus). They really go out of their way in promoting these events for all our students. The student- life center was just renovated and reopened, which means there will be more student involvement and much more activities.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
