CUNY Queensborough offers online courses through the FNET and PNET. FNET courses are given fully online, with no face-to-face interaction; PNET courses are partially online and partially on campus. Communication is important for online courses, and students must start emailing their professor right after class registration. Courses also utilize Blackboard, an online hub where students and teachers can connect.
Unfortunately, Queensborough offers a limited number of online courses, so not all students can take advantage of the FNET and PNET registries. Most students must attend traditional classes in order to fulfill their course requirements. However, for students whose classes are available online, the flexible schedule of non-traditional courses is a benefit.
