Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The average Dartmouth student will probably encounter a fair share of marijuana during his or her time at the College. It is definitely something that must be sought out—it won’t come to you, but if you’re of a mind to smoke, Dartmouth is as good a place as any.

Ecstasy and mushrooms are available on campus but are a little difficult to come by. Likewise, cocaine and painkiller use exists but is not prevalent. One of the more disturbing trends, which is certainly not unique to Dartmouth, involves students using prescription stimulants—mainly Adderall—as study aids in the library in an attempt to make up for time lost to partying.

No Pressure

I never drank in high school, so I was really worried about the social scene here at Dartmouth. Now that I'm here, I absolutely love it! I have a few drinks now and then, but there is absolutely no pressure to drink, even at the frats.
