| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
The Career Services Office, located on the fourth floor of the Alvarez Student Union, provides extensive services to Davidson students at all stages of the career search. Freshmen can set up general consultations to help identify potential career interests, while seniors can work specifically to arrange internships and job interviews. Career services can only help you if you help them. Make sure to sign up for the E-Careers program once you arrive on campus, which will help the office feed you job and internship opportunities according to your preferences through e-mail. Also take advantage of the various lectures Career Services provides, from “What can I do with an Art History Major?” to panels of graduate school admissions personnel. Workshops on resumés and interviewing skills are also available and quite helpful.
