The only campus resources that I use is the student services other than that I dont know of anything else besides the student store.

Overall this school is alright the biggest problem was with the student services they lack communication with the teachers so I had to keep going back and fourth between the two.

I rarely ever have to use the computers at the school but when I do they work just fine.

Where it is a technical college they do not do graduate degrees, but the professors are personable and friendly! Also, the professors are"graded"by how successful their students, ie. job placement, so they are very helpful in aiding their students in the finding of employment in thei field.

The school is a career oriented school, therefore it is there to help us find our career!

The online portion of my courses are not just within the field of study but within several others which makes myself and many others wonder about the validity of the online instruction.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The admission staff gets their job done, but sometimes lack the knowledge. The Education I get here is Jobcorps covered so price is not a factor. Instuctors are very knowledgible, just need to ask. You learn what you want, and what you push for.

Class Registration – The first day I came in to get the paperwork started, I was very nervous. What really helped out was the computer system in the main lobby. You logged in, found the area you needed-registration, general information, ect. and the computer would match you to the next available person. I saw 5 people that first day, and they were very helpful and eager to get me started.

Schedules Don't Leave a Lot of Time for Social Interaction – The medical office administration courses are set up with the individual in mind. I am able to set things up according to my work schedule without much of a hassle. However, not everyone is on the same set. It can be a little tough to make and keep friends when you alternate classes every few weeks instead of every semester.

Great Mix of People – There are a large cross section of people coming here for school. Those still in high school, those in college for the first time, those here for a second degree and adults coming back to complete an education. They are very friendly and have great stories and experiences to share.

Study Hard! You are required to fulfill prerequisite classes before you can be accepted into certain programs. Be sure to meet with the program teacher, they will inform you of the correct classes to take for their program. The counselors are not always informed.

Glad I Am at the DATC. I like the teachers. Most, not all, of the teachers like to help their students achieve success. I also like that I can progress through my classes at my own pace.

Job Prospects – Every classroom I have been in has a board where they post available jobs. The jobs may be with or outside the school. This is very helpful when they are watching for jobs that will fit their students goals.
