There is one dormitory for all 26 students, and it is fantastic. The rooms are spacious; the layout is open and uncluttered; and there's a common room in the center with a fireplace and couches that are all too easy to fall asleep on. Finished in 1999, the dorm is the newest building on campus (previously, the dorm was where the library now stands, and the library was in place of the new classrooms).

Faculty also live in the center of campus, and their houses are roomy and private, while maintaining an open friendliness. The architecture of the buildings in the center of campus is said to have been influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright; one of his sketches for a Deep Springs house hangs in the president's office. In lieu of naming dormitories, past students named each of the rooms in the dorm. While each room has its own perks and personality, Bloom Room (named for Harold Bloom) offers the most space, and Right Wing (named for the political disposition of its first occupants) has the best view.
