It was an overall good experience. There were buses that ran from campus to campus. There were tutors in just about every department. I had problems with the finanial aid office however. They seemed to drag their feet alot.

They have a great support system when it comes to acedemics. They have tutors for every program. The soical atmosphere is good as well. The day time is mainly for the young people and night time is for the people who have families and who work. Classes are flexible with peoples personal lives.

The computer system is great at the school. Students have free and unlimited printing. There are writing and math centers equipped with computers as well as the library and computer lab.

This school was ranked the top community college in the country a few years back. The academics here are great and affordable. I give it a B, as there are not many student work opportunities or extra curricular activities to give involved in(I am into music, and am not able to share that with a club on campus).

There are a lot of resources, but not many activities.

The most difficulty I ever had at my school was getting information as an out-of-state student before school started. I had to explain that it was not easiest for me to come in for them you give me a short easy answer, I didn't live in DE. But other than that, everything has been really easy. Applying, registering for classes, my schedules have been nice, all the teachers are helpful and really want everyone to succeed, and there's free tutoring. As long as you're willing to work, and you're not expecting a free easy ride here, or for teachers and staff to bend over backwards for you, you'll be fine.

Wireless is horrible - it continually kicks students off, not enough computers

Don't know... I have had multiple problems with the school.

I can't stand my school... I also work so I don't have time for school activities or sports.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
For my first semester, Financial aid didn't cover my classes. I still have to pay money out of pocket just so I can register for Fall classes. I haven't receive my Financial aid yet which is stressful. The college FA only covers certain classes, so if you were to attend, make sure you choose a class FA will cover.

I really enjoyed my first semester of college. I was so proud of myself when I finish my semester with good grades. I really enjoy the teachers. I learn so much knowledge just from them! It was challenging but I manage to stick it out! I can't wait to start my second semester.

Some unique things that set my college apart from others is that the environment is wonderful. The teachers actually teach and you will learn. In some classes there are less people so that means you can learn a lot more.

What I love most about the campus is the library. It's so peaceful and quiet and the librarians are nice. The resources on the campus are good but one thing I would change is the temperature.

The computer network at my school is very good; unless there is a storm then it would be experiencing technical difficulties. The teachers understand that when its down, your work can be due another day.

I have been able to contact teachers and counselors easily. They are always quick to get back to me with the information requested.

Somethings are excellent such as the library and labs. However it is the little things they dont do. They noticed a great deal. Such as the up keep of the cafeteria and the 1 dirty microwave that students have been using for years that smells horrible and never gets cleaned.

Awesome curriculum and teachers who are really interested in helping students to learn and understand the material.

I'm a chemistry major, and I love the updated and first class equipment that we have at Delaware Tech.
College Sophomore 2013-02-01T17:57:47Z
Overall old student resources. Only downfall is the school gym being closed due to fights.
College Sophomore 2013-02-01T17:56:24Z
I HATE printing on campus! I understand that paper isn't free and if there wasn't a price to print then the world would run out of paper, but it is highly inconvenient.
College Sophomore 2013-02-01T17:55:09Z
There is no general student age at my school, I've seen students fresh out of college, as well as students with totally white hair and heavy wrinkles. The school morale is very low, and campus life is considerably slow-moving and dull.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
