Campus Strictness Is Pretty Chill

The strictness of Denison's campus is pretty chill. You won't have any trouble underage drinking unless you're being stupid about it. That could include walking outside with an open container, being seen carrying alcohol into a freshman building, being extremely loud, throwing a big party in one of the freshman buildings, violating quiet hours, caught smoking weed or doing other drugs, etc. Other than that, it is very easy and fun to party.

The campus security can be pretty annoying since it sometimes seems like they're looking to catch freshman in the act, all you need to do is head over to upper-classmen parties.

Most RA's are pretty chill too, there are a few who are looking for alcohol in dorms though.

Pretty Lax

Security is always there for us when we need them. Otherwise, this students are generally pretty well-behaved so there isn't too much disciplinary intervention.

Not All That Strict.

I guess if you have gotten written up before, your point of view is different, but as someone who has never had that happen to them, I would say Denison's security isn't all that strict. In reality, they let us get away with a lot. Most weekend nights you'll see a security guard just walking around on the quad as drunk underaged student stumble past. They don't really do much until a party gets out of hand or once it becomes too late.
