The onsite classes were great. I highly recommend the onsight classes. I hate the online classes.

I don't like taking online classes. I orignally signed up to take classes on site for my entire degree because they said this was an option. After I got through my core classes, I was only able to take online classes. Not a fan of this bait and switch.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It's a joke. They tell you one thing, get you enrolled and now you owe so much money.
College Senior 2013-10-11T17:29:55Z
I am a business majoy however I think the school should offer more classes on site, and not just online. I can go to a school online for 1/5 the price that's out of my state. I don't see the point in paying $50,000 for a degree that is only offered online when I could go to a state university for around $15,000 and complete classes online.

I have found that the career services department to be well developed and have a number of different contacts if you want to take advantage of the connections.

The students that are at DeVry come from every walk of life, they have all kinds of backgrounds and are at all different stages of life and it has been a great experience here at DeVry.

The unique things that set this school apart from others for me are:
1) Small Class Sizes
2) Personable Staff (Students are not just numbers)
3) Family & Friendly environment
4) Class Times, availability, and accelerated learning
5) Availability to be on campus or online for courses
6) Professionalism of the Campuses, Faculty, Staff, and Students

The computer labs are stocked with up-to-date equipment, on-site printing is available to the student body throughout the campus (in-classrooms & computer lab) - which is nice when there is something that the student needs to print within a minimal amount of time & effort. Network reliability, speed, wireless access is one of the best that I have personally experienced - the IT team does a great job of limiting access to high-bandwidth sites, programs while being able to keep up with demand, and providing a secure environment . The only down fall that I can see, is that each student (unless in IT courses) needs to have their own computer - this is mostly due to trying to keep cost down.

The career service department at this educational institution is helpful with their advice, very knowledgable in practices of getting a position, mindful of the vast array of students and their studies which enables them to provide information on available opportunities in a vast array of fields. The associates within the Career Services are very friendly and willing to assist the student body as much as possible to enable the student to get an interview.

The resources available to the students at this school is pretty good. The school offers (according to campus) a library, there is an online library that is available and accessible to all students that offers incredible resources and information. The faculty are all professionals in the fields that they are instructing and are open to offer any assistance that the student is in need of or needs. Getting any help that is needed by an individual is offered if they just ask for it. The entire faculty, including the instructors, have an understanding from the students perspective, and open to assist in anyway possible.

DeVry offers a wide range of classes and it is very easy to register for class because the assign you a personal advisor who will help you set up your classes. The teachers I have had will work with you with anything, they give you a number to call them and you can also email them and they usually answer you back with the day. The workload is not to much that you can't do everything, I usually have plenty of time left over at the end of the week to start on next week work.

I love being able to get the assignments and submit homework at my own convenience, any time of day.

I love taking the online classes at DeVry. The only way you can fail at this school is if you choose to do so. There are so many options for help, so many ways to access information.

The classes are great. The teachers are there to help. All my classes are on line.

I'm majoring in business and enjoy selecting the classes as I want them. Instead of just taking your normal math, english classes, I can take classes that are gear toward my major.

I have seen a lot of success with graduates here at DeVry University. The Career Services Department is actively involved and they all have amazing relationships with the students. Everyone pretty much knows everyone by name, which you really do not get to experience at bigger schools. Also, there are many companies who specifically look for DeVry graduates because of the curriculum that they know is being taught.
College Junior 2012-12-28T16:10:46Z
There is a very diverse student population here at DeVry University. There are some young adults, but mostly working professionals with familes at home. They are seeking the opportunity to balance school with work and family.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Costs are on the rise for everything from gasoline to toilet paper. Can we really put a price on education? And, it's not just an education, but also a future. Costs are high at all secondary education facilities. My suggestion is that the government provide more grants for education and less for foreign aid.

Each professor is not only an educator, but also a top professional in the field they are teaching. The curriculum is set up to provide skills required by businesses in each field of study. The class registration is online and relatively easy to navigate. The workload and programs are demanding; such as they would be in a business/job situation which helps prepare studentsfor the real world.

Each course is excellerated which keeps everything very interesting. The fast pace and need to keep ahead of the game is very similar to the environment in an office or business, where the need to be at the forefront is essential.
