My experience has been flexible since I am an on-line student. I think this is one of the schools best traits. The classes are interesting and exciting having professors who are knowledgable and helpful.

The professors at DeVry are great! The small class sizes allow the students and teachers to interact on a more personal level; everyone in the class has a chance to join in. The laboratory exercises get everyone involved, and encourage group learning. The curriculum is straightforward, taking students from the beginning elements of their field, all the way to the latest technology that they will actually use in the workplace. The professors at DeVry have all worked in their field of expertise for years, so they know what's important for the students to learn.

Going back to school while still holding a full-time day job isn't easy. However, DeVry had so many evening, online, and weekend classes available, the hardest part was deciding where to start. Fortunately, the admissions staff and advisers were there to help me every step of the way. They made me feel informed and in control. I also had credits from previous University experience. Those credits carried over without a problem, and took care of many of my general education courses. All of my academic information is available to me at the click of a mouse, and I am able to closely track my own progress.

As a Computer Engineering and Technology major, I feel DeVry is on top of their game. The courses teach you the latest technology, building up your knowledge base gradually. The professors are helpful and patient, not at all like my previous University experience. The small class sizes ensure you will have a chance to ask questions and have them answered. The computer and electronics labs are stocked with the latest and greatest equipment and software. DeVry also has a great relationship with local businesses, bringing graduates and companies together several times per year, simplifying the job-search process.

The online courses were a blast. I love to play on the internet, and the courses felt like "play" while I was learning. The flexibility of the online format made it possible to do my work whenever I had the time. I could work through the materials in the morning after my kids went to school, or late at night when the house had quieted down. I could even work during my spare time on the weekends.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am not happy with the tuition for this school because they keep raising the rate and then they also don't get back to you on financial questions that often. Also they fail to tell you if you run out of aid and by the time you find out your account has been placed on hold and you cannot register for classes or graduate.

The Online classes are awesome and they work really well with single parents who cannot make it to campus that often. The teachers are great and the discussions are very informative.

My school has a career services department that works with you to help you make a resume. They also give you suggestions for jobs and help you get into one of the jobs within your field. If you lose your job you can always come back to DeVry anytime and use their career services. They will help you even if you haven't been at DeVry in a long time.

At DeVry there are many resourses. For example, commons area is a nice place to go enjoy your lunch and dont have to leave of campus. DeVry also offer counsleing for students and there family.

My school has very good support team. One semester when i was behind that let me know that they were there for me if they where needed. As a student i was very happy to know that they really care.

My specific major is Health Information Technology. It is very easy to get registered, enrolled, and scheduled. It is also very easy to attend classes and submit assignments. Right now I am taking Critical Thinking and Problem Solving which is what it sounds like. It helps students learn how to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to real life problems as well as things in school. The other class I am currently taking is Medical Terminology. This is a basic class for learning the basics of medical terminology. This is the first of the actual Health Information Technology core classes.

Everything has been wonderful dealing with DeVry. My classes are all online, so I have no problems with flexibility. I have no problems with transferring credits. Everything has been smooth and easy.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have had a lot of help from the financial aid team. The people at DeVry are always informative and do their best to assist me.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I believe the tuition I pay at DeVry is worth the education. However, it seem to be difficult to find a finacial advisor that knows all the options students have to pay for their schooling. For example, I am at senior status and just found that I may be able to eliminate some of my cost and it took a academic advisor to tell me this information. I feel I should have been informed of this information at the begining.

With DeVry they have schools in varietiy of places and accept overseas students. Therefore, student body is very diverse and acceptance appears to be superb.

For me the education in my degree is superb. The difficulty is that many companies do not realize that DeVry is more than a technical college. The curriculm helps students see every part of the business so they can understand any paper work that might cross their desk. Furthermore, it helps students determine if they would like to supplement their BSBA degree with a masters in a different area.
College Senior 2013-07-28T18:07:15Z
For business and technical academics I feel DeVry is in the top of the pack. However, many employers have not come to realize the amount of business students attending DeVry.
The professors are very knowledgeable in their fields of study. The work load is managable, but it can become a challenge if you pair the wrong classes.

My experience with online classes have been termendous. They are flexable with full time work requiments. I have not experienced the difference between classroom verses online; however, listening to my daughter, it seem that often the online professors are more helpful and more organized.
The registeration process is simple, it only takes a phone call. In my experience the peer to peer interaction is active in classes and with team project, I have had excellent results. Professor and student relationships depend on the students willing to contact the profess. My professors have always been willing to answer questions and assist with job recomendations. I have had friendly and informitive conversations with my professors.

This school classes change every eight weeks and I enjoy that. With classes change every 8 weeks i have no time to put things off. I only have to meet once a week if i have to come n campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I will give this campus a grade B on the fact that the tution can be very expensive. The tution is 609 per credit hour.

At Devry my major is one of the top five majors at this campus. I feel that i am taking all the right classes that will help me with my major. Compared to the community college i attended we had a lot of electives that was not needed.

I was not to sure on taking an online class but here at DeVry the made it more easier than i expected.

I have taken 2 courses through their online courses. I enjoyed both of them so far. I think that it is a great thing for people who cannot attend on campus classes.
