The preliminary classes started out as being smoother than I expected. Even though I was scared to go back to college it really wasn't that bad because of the way the curriculum was setup. It was enough to remind me of where I left off in my bachelor's degree and then easing my way back into the harder level. The timeframe of the classes are difficult in that a big project is due at the same time the final is due. So far I've enjoyed it and I'm getting the routine done quite well.

It has been hard going back to school but because of Keller's flexible night and online program, I've been able to do it without much difficulty. There are two campuses on opposite sides of town and I've had to take classes at both. When I had to take classes downtown I was glad the parking garage and fee was included in the tuition or this would have been rather difficult and expensive to deal with. I've also taken a class online but I prefer onsite because the professors are more flexible and and give better information when dealing with face-to-face.

Keller has a very mixed student body. I've found them all to be very friendly and not too closed off like I did when I went to my previous schools. Everyone is very helpful and kind to each other. Even in some of the accounting classes, when compared to my previous accounting classes, most the people are extremely competitive and aren't willing to communicate and make friendly conversations with other classmates. Usually I've found accounting students to be very unconversational and they don't want to share information or help out anyone other than themselves.

I am currently studying for my Master's in Human Resources. The classes are exactly what I have imagined because the professors teach the students about what is currently going on in the business environment. Everything is up to date and students actually get the chance to take more classes that are related to their major, instead of classes that have nothing to do with the major.

Both DeVry and Keller are very diverse, especially when it comes to the students who attend on campus. One of the things I like is that there are people who come from high school to people who begin school when they are sixty years old. Everyone is different and has different goals, but there are times when we are placed in the same pre-requisite classes which really allows the students to get to know one another.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I know I am getting a great education with the money that I am paying. Because it is graduate school, it is difficult to get as many loans and financial aid is harder to understand. Although it is expensive, I know that my degree will pay off in the future.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
