Overall, Dominican students say that they have had a very pleasant experience at the school. One sophomore student summed up her experience so far as this: "Overall, I enjoy Dominican. I have made some great friends and have a fantastic roommate. I love her so much. We met at orientation and were instantly best friends. Now two years later, we still live together!" Another student said this: 'The campus is a wonderful setting. I like the school for its small class size and the beautiful environment." Many other students can attest to experiences similar to these.

Dominican offers so many opportunities to meet new people and make fun new memories, and the school's small size/student body helps to create these opportunities. For example, the University Ministry department hosts many different get-togethers and events of all sorts (such as retreats, after-mass hospitality, and "bagel days"), all great opportunities to meet new friends! This is also the case with so many other organizations on campus. Students who do not look for thing to do and do not get involved with things going on around campus may say that Dominican is "boring," but there are always new things to see and new events to attend, from service events to social awareness events to simply social events (including social events with the sisters from the Dominican order!), and this makes the Dominican experience all the more special.
