the greek organizations can be rather cliquey but they are a very good social outlet if you choose to join one

Greek students and non-greek students get along well, they don't look down upon each other and both sides are friendly.

Greek life is great at Drake, but you don't have to join to have a great time. Greek life is very involved in campus and community activities as well as social gatherings. Greeks and non-Greeks get along very well and everyone is invited to the parties whether you are in Greek life or not! However, being involved in Greek life is a blast and a half!

Most students get into the Greek life.

Greek life is fairly popular with 30 percent of the campus being involved. That being said, there's no rivalry between Greeks and non-Greeks. I would say it definitely dominates the night life though. Most students are involved in some form of a greek organization whether it be social/professional/volunteer. You cannot live in the sorority houses until junior year, but sometimes you can move into a fraternity house earlier. There are 5 sororities (Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Gamma, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Alpha Phi). There are also 8 Fraternities (Theta Chi, TKE, Fiji, SAE, Sig EP, Pi Kappa Phi, PIKE, Sigma Chi).
Sorry, there are no reviews.
