For the past decade Drew has given out computers to every student upon entrance. I myself have a Lenovo from my freshman year. The past two years they even had a Mac option. Unfortunately, this is ending, and the school will no longer be giving laptops. I personally feel like this is a good thing. While it may seem nice to receive a "free" laptop ( it's not cause it's part of tuition) it really isn't. I would have gotten a completely different computer, one without all of the different programs that they put on it. In the end, I hate my computer. But, I have to admit, it has been really nice being able to go to tech services and get my computer fixed for free. I once spilled hot water on my keyboard and they replaced it for free. I don't know how they are going to cope with not giving out computers as far as computer labs go... We do have some, but we shall see.

Drew previously provided every incoming student with a laptop, but has recently discontinued that program. That being said, your own laptop is probably a good idea - there are a few computer labs scattered around campus, but none near the dorms. There are printers too, but having one is much less stressful.
The wifi is generally decent, although it depends on where you are.

Every student gets their own laptop computer. The computers are used in a majority of courses, including lab sessions for science courses. Sometimes the speed and network reliability is slow in certain areas on campus.

First Year With Mac Option – Drew provides every student with a laptop programmed with all the necessary material for students which is super convenient. Upperclassmen complain about the PC's that they were provided with as a freshman but I'm a member of the first class who were given the option to choose a Mac laptop which has been GREAT. Picking up my MacBook Pro at orientation was pretty exciting. Students can still choose the PC option but as I've seen most students have chosen either the regular MacBook or the MacBook Pro.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
