One of the only problems with Drew is it's location. Madison resists being a college town in almost every way possible so there's no off campus housing and very little to do in town. Some redeeming qualities of the location however are Drip (the coffee shop), and the pubs that have dollar beer night.

Many opportunities for off campus activities. Less than 40 miles from Manhattan, Hoboken, and other "hot spots" good local bars and restaurants.

I love Madison, it has small town charm but is only a 45 minute train ride from NYC. I often take a 5 minute ride to a tiny park near by and I sit and just enjoy the scenery, absolutely beautiful. The only downside and reason I didn't give it an A+ is that everything closes SUPER early because it is a small town with mostly older people despite the town having 3 universities. The other thing is that it is very expensive, but it's never too expensive to go window shopping :)

Madison is a great town. Its safe, there is so much to do and the people are very friendly. Although a little pricey, the town is magnificent and within a short walking distance from campus.

Cute Little Town – Madison is one of those cute little towns with a storefront-lined Main Street, a train station,a town hall, and a farmer's market. It's great to walk around in, and the safest town you'll ever find. And there are A LOT of good ice cream places. Unfortunately it's a bit pricey, so try to stock up on necessities before you come back from break.
