Advice
- Finding jobs and internships can be a harrowing experience for everyone. For some people, things just fall into place. Others really have to work at it. Don’t trust that you’ll be one for whom things will fall into place—get in touch with the Career Center. They offer résumé help, mailing lists, and job listings. It might help, and it sure won’t hurt. Go to the job fair at the beginning of the school year, go to subsequent job fairs and job forums, get the résumé help, get in contact with the Career Center, get on the mailing lists, apply for the internships. Be proactive. Job fairs are usually held in the student center.
