The financial aid department was extremely helpful and willing to walk me through various forms etc. However, I found there wasn't as much non-federal aid, such as scholarships or grants available as I had anticipated. I suggest looking for other resources outside of the school for financial assistance.

I received a good amount of aid, including grants, which cut down on the debt. I graduated with around $20k in student loans, and the aid office was always available for questions. The only thing I would recommend for improvement is to try to allow students to graduate debt-free.

Financial aid is a pretty difficult thing to assess in my opinion. I got a lot of aid as a freshman. Now as a sophomore, I've had to take out a couple grand in loans and I was lucky to land a scholarship to cover some of it. Hope it only gets better from here but I doubt it.

Financial aid office has been very helpful with filling out forms and answering questions. Scholarships are fair and mostly need based so everyone should apply
